1. How much does a private party cost?
Pricing for Drunken Laboratory private events is customized based on your group size, preferred time slot, and any add-ons you select. Since every celebration is unique, we build tailored quotes; no two events are exactly alike. 2. What is included in the private party package?
Every private event at The Drunken Laboratory includes the full experience — no stripped-down version, no hidden extras. Here’s what every guest gets:

3. How long is the private party experience?
Additional drink packages and bar tab upgrades are available — just ask our events team.
- Private events at The Drunken Laboratory typically run 90 minutes to 2 hours — the perfect window to complete all the experiments, make your slime, explore the specimen display, enjoy your drinks, and still leave with energy for the rest of the night. Extended sessions are available upon request for groups who want more time in the lab.
4. Can we bring our own food and drinks?
- Outside alcohol is not permitted, as The Drunken Laboratory is a fully licensed venue — and don’t worry, drinks are already included with every ticket. Outside food is generally not allowed, however special desserts and birthday cakes are warmly welcomed with advance approval from our events team. We want your celebration to feel complete — just let us know ahead of time so we can coordinate seamlessly.
5. Do you provide food, or do you have food available for purchase?
Every ticket includes a Custom Birthday Cake, Charcuterie Board, All Instructions/ Materials, Individualized Games, Private Venue Book out, Live DJ, and Custom Drink menu. We don’t currently offer a full dinner menu, so we recommend eating before your session or planning dinner after — and with NYC’s incredible restaurant scene right outside our doors, you won’t be short on options. We’re happy to suggest nearby spots!
6. What is the minimum and maximum number of guests for a private party?
The Drunken Laboratory can host a minimum of 10 guests and accommodate groups of 60 or more for a full venue buyout. Whether you’re celebrating with a bachelorette party of 15 or a corporate group of 50, we have you covered. Reach out to our events team to discuss larger group requirements and custom arrangements.
7. Does the private party include a live DJ?
Yes! A Live DJ is included in every birthday package, spinning a custom music set to keep the energy high throughout your experience. You can also make personalized song requests and choose your preferred music style during the event personalization process — because the soundtrack is part of the party.
8. Does the package include a birthday cake?
Absolutely. Every birthday package includes a personalized birthday cake — because no celebration is complete without one. It’s already built into your booking, so one less thing to worry about.
9. What dates and times are available for private parties?
Private event slots are available Monday through Sunday, with both afternoon and evening time options. Evening and weekend slots are the most popular — we strongly recommend booking at least 3 to 4 weeks in advance to secure your preferred date and time. Contact our events team directly or check the calendar link for your city to view current availability.
